01-015-HB In a c1905 photo made from a glass negative, a former slave cabin stands in Friendfield Village at Hobcaw Barony. The figure on the post-civil war porch, may be Laura Carr, born in 1857 (our original date for birth was 1868) and died October 12, 1937, at age 80, who lived on the northwest end of the street. Note the corrugated roof tin of the whitewashed cabin.
